Reminder all Ben’s locations are closed for the 8 days of Passover: dining rooms close at 3 p.m. takeout counters close at 4 p.m. on April 15th and all locations reopen Sunday, April 24th. 

In honor of our 50th anniversary this year we’ve rounded up 50 fun facts about Ben’s you may or may not know! Stay tuned each month this year for some interesting tidbits from our last 50 years in business.

1. The second Ben’s opened in Greenvale in 1982.

2. Ronnie’s son, Joshua, worked as a cashier in Greenvale as well as the Ben’s Express in the Roosevelt Field Mall during his years in high school.

3. Jaime, Ronnie’s daughter, worked as a hostess in Greenvale, Baldwin, and Manhattan throughout high school and some of college. She went on to become a teacher in the NYC public schools for 10 years only to rejoin the Ben’s team in July of 2021.
